Workplace Solutions appoints new Head of Wealth Management – Maxine McIntyre
I’m extremely pleased to confirm that Maxine McIntyre has joined Workplace Solutions as Head of Wealth Management.
Maxine joins Workplace Solutions, part of deVere Group, one of the world’s leading independent financial advisory organisations, from Close Brothers Asset Management, where her role was Head of Proposition within the Corporate Division.
Speaking of the appointment, Managing Director of Workplace Solutions Simon Chrystal says: “This appointment is a real coup for our business. Maxine is one of the very best advisers in the industry and will appreciably strengthen our leadership team, proposition and market presence.”
Since its launch in January this year, Workplace Solutions, which provides expert advice to current and former employees of corporations in order to help them reach their long-term financial goals, has secured major contracts with numerous multinational corporations. As such, Maxine’s role will include meetings with current and former high net worth employees of such organisations to determine how best to achieve and exceed their financial ambitions.
Due to the ongoing changes to pension legislation, we are now experiencing a shift in traditional retirement planning, so Maxine’s expertise will be instrumental in assisting clients to manage these changes, such as recent modifications to the lifetime allowance and the pensions landscape, and circumvent the difficulties whilst making the most of available opportunities.
Maxine says of her new role within Workplace Solutions Ltd: “Having chosen to exit Close Brothers, choosing a new role which allowed me to fulfil my ambitions was critical.
“I am joining a young company experiencing expediential growth which is incredibly exciting, but what really attracted me to this role is the intention of the team to completely rewrite the way our industry provides services and advice to clients, something long overdue in the financial services industry. I will, my team will, play a major role in achieving this objective.”
