I’m pleased to announce the launch of Sales Mastery 360º, a new, weekly, live, web-based training hour in which I will share with deVere’s European advisers many of the lessons and experiences acquired throughout my 16 years’ in both onshore and internationally based financial services.

Throughout this series, I will cover the fundamentals of sales, the advanced and proven skills, extensive personal and professional development techniques, and impart relevant professional anecdotes and lessons that can be used to help actively secure new business and to retain and service existing clients.

The addition of Sales Mastery 360°, the very first one of which takes place on Thursday 29th August at 8 am CET, to our already impressive training and development programme underscores deVere’s globally-recognised dedication to consistently and progressively training its teams.

There can be no doubt that we have developed an enviable reputation for offering an unrivalled level of support for advisers – indeed, I firmly believe no other firm could come close to the level of ongoing training that deVere provides.

Ongoing training and development

Our teams now receive one hour of dedicated, in-office training every single day of the week between 8 and 9 am – whether this be one-on-one with a senior member of staff, ‘live’ WebEx, or in group training.

We are now investing in technologies so that our teams have constant access to the very latest training resources, including archived material and sales information banks, at the click of a mouse, so that they can continually work towards their industry-recognised examinations, and so that their diplomas and certificates are logged and updated.

In addition, we’re fortunate enough to have some of the industry’s leading figureheads within our organisation and, using the web-based technology, they too are able to train our European advisers in specific areas on an ongoing basis.  For instance,  Financial Times IFA of the Year, Mitch Hopkinson, and Colm Donnelly, the European Head of Compliance and Regulatory Policy, both regularly host training and development sessions.

Sales Mastery 360° is an exciting addition to our world-class support and training programmes and, in my opinion, it helps cement deVere’s over-arching commitment to ensuring that it has only the very best wealth professionals working within the organisation.
