What are expats in the UAE most concerned about when it comes to their finances?

We really wanted to know.

You see, our motto is to create personal success stories with you at the very heart of them. To do our job, we needed to know what was worrying you.

So we decided to do something about it. We launched a far-reaching campaign to get in touch with you and find out more about your top of mind financial worries.

We spoke to existing clients and prospective ones. Also, we reached out to veteran expats in UAE and those of you just starting your expat adventure.

And here’s what we found – a full 79% of you were concerned about retirement. Particularly longer-term expats, but even those just moving to a low-tax environment where they couldn’t count on a state pension.

Retirement is probably the most important decision of your life. It comes around once and you don’t get a second go at planning for it. That’s why making the right decisions at the right time is crucial.

You were worried about having enough saved up to get you through many great years of life after work. So we decided to help – just as we’ve personally helped many of you plan and achieve your dream retirements.

We have created an Expat Retirement service that helps you think about retirement the right way. We address common concerns and financial advice for expats in the UAE and set you on track to ask us the hard questions – such as:

  1. What happens to my pension now that I’m in the UAE?
  2. When do I start planning?
  3. How much should I be saving to be secure in retirement?
  4. Which currency should I save in?
  5. Should I be prudent or go big to make up lost time?

We’d be delighted to help you answer any questions you might have.
