deVere sponsors Geneva Charity Ball 2013
The time is nearly upon us for what The Telegraph hailed as the “must-attend event on the European expat calendar” – and I’m delighted to announce that once again deVere is its principle sponsor. Yes, it’s the Geneva Charity Ball 2013.
Taking place at Hotel Intercontinental, Geneva, on Saturday November 23rd , the Wizard of Oz-themed Ball brings together a great time, great food, a great setting, great company, and great entertainment with the opportunity to raise further funds through a raffle and auction for four amazing children’s charities – Clair Bos, SOS Children’s Villages, Paidos, and the GM Foundation.
Our continued support of this outstanding event is always a matter of pride to deVere and in the last two years alone we have helped raise over 100,000 CHF. This year promises to be the best yet with 500 high profile guests from the worlds of media, sport, finance, business and high society coming together with one common goal, “having a good time and doing good”.
Paul Dodds’ commitment
So how does deVere’s involvement work and, indeed, continue to develop? The answer is Paul Dodds, our Senior Area Manager in Switzerland and Italy, who also sits on the Geneva Charity Ball board. Thanks to his hard work and out of hours commitment to this remarkable charity enterprise, Geneva Charity Ball and deVere remain firm and favourite partners.
On a voluntary basis, the board works all year round to ensure the Ball is one hell of a night and deVere’s sponsorship of it is inextricably linked to the fact year on year even more money is raised for our four great charities.
