deVere Spain seeks to expand team as expat demand increases
deVere Spain, part of deVere Group, one of the world’s largest independent financial advisory organisations, is launching a recruitment drive to find additional determined, accomplished and motivated independent financial advisers to become part of its ongoing success.
Founded in 2007, deVere Spain has five offices located in Barcelona, Costa Blanca, Madrid, Marbella and Palma de Mallorca, with a view to open another three to four offices on the Iberian peninsula within the next five years, as part of its expansion plans.
The need to upsize is in answer to the demand for professional, independent cross-border financial advice from deVere Spain’s multinational client base, which keeps on growing annually.
The opportunities available to members of the deVere Spain team are extremely diverse. One of the main reasons why there is such a variety is due to the different demographics in the five regions where deVere Spain’s offices are located.
For instance, the majority of clients in the Barcelona and Madrid offices are multinational expats from all over Europe who may be looking for financial advice and how best to protect their families during times of illness or following death; and receive guidance on how to make their money work harder for them.
Typical clients in the Costa Blanca region as well as in Marbella, are in or at the point of retirement, and will be focusing on getting the most out of their assets and pensions they’ve amassed throughout their working lives, as well as protecting assets against inheritance tax both in the UK and Spain.
Whereas in Palma de Mallorca, deVere Spain caters for a more generic mix of clients both currently in employment and on the verge of retirement, as well as the ‘super yacht industry’, meaning clients require more internationally-focused financial advice.
Successful candidates will become part of an exceedingly successful, highly experienced and exceptionally qualified team of advisers, who enjoy an excellent work-life balance and have the opportunity to live in one of the most beautiful countries in Western Europe.
Applicants must be ready to put in the hours and work hard, and in return will receive the benefits of an immensely rewarding career in the global financial services industry, as part of one of the world’s leading financial advisory organisations, which currently has $10 billion under its advisement and over 80,000 clients globally.
