I’m pleased to confirm that I will be accepting Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s invitation to attend the 2014 EMEA Ideas Summit, taking place on 13th May at their offices in London’s Fleet Street.

I’ll be joining some of the world’s leading wealth management professionals, chief executives, policy makers, and financial industry experts, as well as top-ranking Goldman Sachs professionals, at one of the most prestigious senior investment conferences in Europe.

This event will provide a forum for a number of across-the-board investment topics to be discussed at the event, with the guest speakers offering informative insight into the current financial markets, geopolitical developments and macroeconomic prospects that will form the future of the financial industry over the coming years.

Included in the line-up for this year’s EMEA Ideas Summit are Eliza Manningham-Buller, Former Head of Britain’s Security Service (MI5) 2002-2007; Mario Monti, former Prime Minister of Italy; Niklas Zennström, former founder and CEO of Skype; Robert B. Zoellick, former president of the World Bank Group and Eric Rasmussen, Director of Natural Resources, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development amongst many other industry experts.

Goldman Sachs has hosted a number of highly successful events like this worldwide, with a varied selection of high-profile guest speakers.  The ‘Alternative Investments Symposium’ which took place in New York in October last year was a resounding success, attracting over 600 guests.  Macroeconomic trends and significant investment concepts were brought to the table, with former US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton one of the 80 guest speakers.  The ‘Growth Markets Summit’ which took place in April 2013 was also a triumph.

This conference will allow some of the financial industry’s most prominent figures the chance to impart their unrivalled experience and acumen, and I’m confident it will be another runaway success.
