European Performance Conference hailed a great success
I’m delighted to report that everyone who participated in the Flying Start European Performance Conference that took place in Frankfurt on Friday and Saturday, in association with Goldman Sachs, has hailed it a roaring success.
A host of leading industry figures shared their expertise over the two-day event – an event which underscored once again how you come away with so much knowledge and empowerment when you’re surrounded by so many different successful people.
Experienced wealth management professionals from deVere and Goldman Sachs, gave inspirational talks on the major, relevant issues facing our industry and clients.
Myself, deVere Spain’s Senior Area Manager, Andy Oliver, and Head of UK Financial Planning for deVere United Kingdom, Kevin White, along with professionals from other deVere offices around the world, including Nigel Smith, Alex Sedgfield, Paul Dodds, Tim Hinchliffe, Kerry Newcombe and Andrew Daglish gave talks and offered advice and tips to the attendees, covering subjects including ‘Sales Mastery’, ‘QROPS’ Perfection’, and ‘Building Positives’.
Goldman Sachs Executive Director, Oliver Rahe; Chief European Economist, Dirk Schumacher; and Goldman Sachs Vice President, David Copsey, presented their views on such topics as the future of the European market and multi- asset portfolios.
Like many, I was thrilled by the energy and enthusiasm surging throughout the room, and the speakers provided superb insight, had amazing ideas and were bursting at the seams with motivation. I know everyone took a great deal over the 48 hours, and some made nearly 100 pages of notes which they intend to make full use of as from today.
The positive comments from everyone at the conference were fantastic, and I really believe we’ve moved even further forward as a team. There was a real sense of unity and a spirit of winning amongst us, and it just goes to show that we’ve got something very special.
I’d like to thank the 90 people who attended the conference, for their open-minded, dedicated and professional approach, who I think all came away from the proceedings with real intent and purpose. It was a truly outstanding couple of days.
I’m already very much looking forward to the next conference taking place in May in association with Morgan Stanley as it promises to be another event to harness and channel the talent of some of the peak performers in our organisation.
