There’s an undisputable trend in Alex’s client testimonials. One after the other, two recurring words come up – knowledge and professionalism. It is these abilities, mixed with an unswerving dedication, enthusiasm and commitment that have seen him rise rapidly through the deVere ranks.

A graduate of the University of Surrey, UK, and with a successful employment history as an Independent Financial Advisor, Alex joined deVere Group in 2008. Always quick and willing to learn, Alex took full advantage of the many certification training schemes open to him through deVere.

Those certifications include Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments International Introduction to Securities and Investments and International Certificate in Wealth Management as well as a Chartered Insurance Institute Award in Financial Planning.

Alex’s efforts and energy saw him rise from consultant to senior consultant and then to the role he enjoys today; that of deVere Switzerland Area Manager, Geneva. Along the way he has brought many new clients on board, a majority of whom hold senior positions at multi-national companies.

As Alex says: “Over the years I have developed a considerable client base in the Geneva area and as a result I tend to take on clients who are personally recommended to me. The rest of my time is spent looking after the interests of my existing clients and developing the deVere Geneva team.

Alex’s belief mirrors that of deVere’s, that there are no two clients alike and so, with every expatriate or international investor who calls upon his help, he will construct an investment programme targeted to their individual needs, and keep refining that programme on a regular basis to make sure his clients’ money is working its hardest over the long term.

Outside of work, Alex is preparing to take on another long-term commitment. In August he’ll marry his fiancée Katie Doyle with whom he lives just outside Geneva in the suitably romantic Canton of Vaud.
