During my recent visit to deVere’s pioneering European Communications Centre (ECC) in southern Spain, I was filmed by a camera and production crew who were producing a video.

The purpose?  To set out the role of this innovative facility within the organisation’s business model and to give a greater insight into its day-to-day operations.

In the video, I explain how the ECC, which was established last winter, was set-up to provide a wide ranging set of support services to our advisers across our 24 offices in Western Europe, and also to their clients.

Highlighted is the fact that the facility provides our advisers who are further away from our main hubs more direct access to organisational back-up, the resources we have invested, and the cutting-edge technologies –that go way beyond what is typically offered by other brokerages – that we have been able to implement.

With my interactions being filmed with Kerry Newcombe, who heads up the ECC, plus several team leaders, events coordinator and account executives, viewers will be able to see those who know what it’s really like to work in this industry-leading centre every day telling it like it is in their own words.

The video, to my mind, sums up how the time, effort and investment we have put into the European division over the last few years is now really starting to pay dividends for both our advisers and our clients.

I also suggest that so successful and effective has the European Communications Centre proven to be since it was launched at the end of last year, that it could very possibly be recreated elsewhere within the deVere Group’s global operations.

I would like to express thanks to everyone who featured on this video and, of course, I’m really looking forward to seeing what the next six months will bring for the ECC.   Due to the hardworking, enthusiastic and highly-motivated team there, I’m anticipating the future looks very bright indeed.
